Prometheus 4.4
One-of-a-kind multi-strategy gold trading algorithm • Prop Profile (Grid-Free) • ATR-Adaptive Risk Engine
What Is Prometheus 4.4
Prometheus 4.4 is a one-of-a-kind algorithm for XAUUSD (Gold) built around a simple reality:
Gold does not behave the same way every day. It rotates between liquidity sweeps, ranges, trends, and compression/expansion cycles.
Instead of forcing one setup to trade everything, Prometheus 4.4 uses a multi-module strategy engine and then keeps exposure controlled using:
- ATR-based adaptation (ratio + multi-day context)
- Enhanced Risk-in-Position (exposure control per entry + total open exposure)
- Short Ratio limiter (helps reduce directional concentration)
- Total Strategies manager (controls how many strategy modules can trade simultaneously)
- Monthly Withdrawal analytics (see monthly results with planned cash-outs)
The default Prop Profile is designed to be grid-free (no averaging grid). A separate optional Broker Test Profile exists for research and execution testing only (higher risk).
Strategy Engine
Prometheus 4.4 includes multiple independent logic modules. Each module targets a specific market regime. The Total Strategies manager helps reduce "strategy collisions" by limiting how many modules can be active at the same time.
F — Fibonacci Reaction Model
Retracement logic using 38.2–61.8% Fibonacci zones.
- Regime: impulse → pullback → continuation attempt
- What it looks for: a controlled retracement after an expansion
- Goal: participate in continuation when structure remains valid
- Why it exists: provides a structured way to trade pullbacks without chasing highs/lows
J — Judas Liquidity Reversal (PropJ)
Based on the Judas Swing concept: early-session liquidity grabs, false breakouts, and reversal back into structure.
- Regime: session open sweep → reversal
- What it looks for: liquidity sweep + confirmation back into prior structure
- Goal: catch the reversal move after the "trap" breakout
- Why it exists: gold often sweeps liquidity first, then returns into structure
V — VWAP Mean Reversion
Trades deviations from VWAP and targets reversion to the value area.
- Regime: balanced / ranging conditions
- What it looks for: statistically stretched deviations away from fair value
- Goal: revert back toward VWAP/value area (mean reversion)
- Why it exists: ranges are common; this module is built for "back to value" behavior
S — Structure / Session Trend
Structure-driven continuation logic for directional phases.
- Regime: trending markets and directional legs
- What it looks for: structure confirmation before participation
- Goal: participate with the trend when conditions align
- Why it exists: covers strong directional days when mean reversion is less effective
X — Volatility Expansion
Designed for volatility expansion after compression (breakout conditions).
- Regime: compression → breakout → expansion
- What it looks for: expansion conditions after a compressed state
- Goal: participate in breakout/expansion moves while controlling over-trading
- Why it exists: uses ATR ratio + multi-day volatility context to avoid "overreacting" to quiet or chaotic days
C4 — EMA/MA Compression Cycle
EMA/MA compression → breakout → correction.
- Regime: cycle transitions and regime shifts
- What it looks for: compression and the following breakout/correction pattern
- Goal: participate in the transition when the market changes regime
- Why it exists: captures shifts that are not always visible with a single trend filter
Note: strategy names describe internal modules. Exact trade execution depends on broker feed, spreads, slippage, and symbol specifications.
Core Risk Architecture
Enhanced Risk-in-Position
Prometheus 4.4 controls exposure by accounting for protective distance and current open risk before placing new trades. This helps prevent the system from stacking risk beyond your configured limit when multiple modules are active.
ATR-Based Protection (Ratio + Days)
Instead of static distances, key protective/decision thresholds are normalized to current volatility (ATR). Multi-day context helps the algorithm avoid treating a "quiet day" the same as a "high volatility day".
Short Ratio Limiter
When multiple modules operate, the Short Ratio limiter helps reduce directional concentration on short exposure.
Monthly Withdrawal (Realistic Monthly Performance View)
Prometheus 4.4 includes a unique Monthly Withdrawal report designed to show performance under planned cash-out behavior:
- Simulate fixed or percentage withdrawals at month-end
- See monthly cash-outs alongside the remaining equity curve
- Compare withdrawing vs compounding without exporting results
This is a reporting/simulation feature. It does not guarantee any monthly income.
Total Strategies (Automatic Strategy Concurrency)
Total Strategies is the internal manager that decides how many modules may trade at once (within your limits). This helps reduce correlated stacking and keeps exposure cleaner during unfavorable conditions.
Profiles
Prop Profile (Default)
- Designed to be grid-free
- Focus on controlled exposure (Risk-in-Position) + ATR adaptation
- Intended for cleaner "prop-style" execution logic
Broker Test Profile (Optional / High Risk)
Designed for testing broker execution and recovery behavior, not for conservative trading:
- Martingale-style sizing
- 2-grid recovery model
High risk: these options can significantly increase drawdowns.
